Day 29

It is time for a check in folks. How are you all doing? Are you feeling a bit frazzled these days, or standing in a line up getting impatient?
Here is a simple breath meditation that will help you to overcome any animosity, and turn these emotions into compassion instead.
The Gratitude Exercise
1. Inhale through the nose
2. Exhale completely through the mouth
3. Inhale deeply and smoothly through the mouth
4. Exhale complete through the nose
5. Continue, inhaling the mantra 'Sat' and exhaling the mantra 'Nam'

  1. In daily life using breathing more with success in dealing with irritation, jealousy, and resentment. This particular technique in Deepak Chopra's Book of Secrets and Tonglen from Pema Chodran's writings. Will try the one you suggest, Marie--sounds good!!
Also using the chant "I am the light of my soul etc" with mudra to end morning meditation. Wake at 6 AM --can't sleep in if I try!! Love it!

Can hardly wait to listen to the Daihi Lama --perhaps tonight. Right now sound is off for some reason. Thanks Marie. Faye
